SREBRENICA: NEVER AGAIN

This is the story of three people whose lives were overturned by the Srebrenica massacre in July 1995.

SREBRENICA: NEVER AGAIN

Over the course of the year which marks the 10th anniversary of the massacre, the film returns repeatedly to Bosnia to record their struggles to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of genocide.
Hasan Nuhanovic lost his entire family in the massacre. We follow Hasan’s obsessive campaign for justice, and his continuing agonies of guilt. At the end of a traumatic year for him, the film records his success in pursuing some of the men responsible for the death of his family.
Saliha Osmanovic lost her husband and two sons in Srebrenica, and has been struggling alone for a decade to recover her life. Her efforts are focused now on a desperate effort to put a roof on her house.
Zumra Sekhomerovic has not seen her husband since he was taken from her by Bosnian Serb soldiers in July 1995. The film records her campaigns with widows of Srebrenica and her continuing search for the remains if her husband.
Srebrenica: Never Again? Also charts the repeated failures of the International community to respond to Genocide, and asks: When will we move beyond slogans to action?
