BLUE COLLAR WHITE CHRISTMAS

A warm-hearted documentary about being human

BLUE COLLAR WHITE CHRISTMAS

It’s December 2001. The workers at the lifeboat factory Viking are preparing for the coming Christmas feast. But in the middle of the busyness a bomb explodes. Viking is opening a new factory in Thailand and an unexpected round of sackings looms.

Through an exceptional Christmas month we follow the four main characters of the film – Diana, Lotte, Kragelund and Tobiesen. While the lay-offs draw closer and the air is getting thick with rumours and premonitions – life continues. Blue Collar White Christmas is a row of humorous everyday chronicles, dealing with our fear of change as well as the necessity of change.
