Eight children / grown ups are placed in a holiday camp on a remote island for three weeks.

The camp is conducted by two teachers and the camps philosophy is, that the children / grown ups through the stay shall learn to behave, learn about social boundaries and last but not least, they shall learn to accept themselves as individuals in order to accept others.

The Island is a scripted format with clear elements of suspense and a charged and tense atmosphere. The children’s / the grown up’s meeting with each other, the ongoing sinister atmosphere that comes from being alone on the island, while strange things happens and the harsh lighthouse keeper gives the serial both drama, suspense and mystery.

Through a strict and up-speed plot, the format will both fascinate and give room for identification for the viewers.
