In ”Taste Your Own Medicine!” politicians are finally held accountable for their own policies. For a week they get a chance to feel how bad things really are.
Is their ideology great on paper – but sucks in the real world? And how are they gonna handle the problems when they can’t just disarm critics with their usual political droning – but have to deal with it with their own hands?
If the politician takes over a social workers job – the social worker makes sure that the politician is faced with all the daily hardships, she handles in her job. On the side, the social worker follows how the politician manages her job – and comments on it.
After a week we’ll all see what happened.
Did the politician get a new look on things?
And will he change things for the better?
Imagine the minister of education taking over a terroristic 5th grade class. Or the minister of social affairs living on the streets as a homeless for a week. Or the minister of justice struggling with the unpopular job as a prison warden.
